Role and responsibilities
To ensure constant availability and efficiency, in this position you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and troubleshooting of ASML's state-of-the-art equipment. You will work with a team dedicated to maintaining a variety of our systems in our Customer Support (CS) department. You will accomplish this by working with one of our top partners for research and innovation in digital and nanoelectronics. Working in a team that values collaboration and brings together experts from different fields, you will be able to provide first-class support and resolve technical issues quickly.
As a Field Service Engineer:
- Gather critical information, assess difficult situations and implement innovative solutions under the direction of a knowledgeable and helpful team.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of your equipment and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Organize and secure resources to ensure all equipment and consumables are available when needed.
- To ensure effectiveness and promote a culture of continuous improvement, document and report technical actions.
- To improve your skills and expertise, you will work with various colleagues and follow an individual program.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree or state-certified engineer in an engineering field (e.g. mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics) or relevant professional experience
- Preferably 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in technical customer support
- Strong practical troubleshooting skills and knowledge
